Are Diet and Exercise not giving you the stomach you want?
· Have an outfit you’ve always dreamed of wearing but are afraid of wearing it because you
are ashamed of your belly?
· Have you always eaten healthy but can never get rid of those love handles?
· Have you worked hard to lose weight only to discover that the loose skin around your
belly is still there?
Liposuction is one of the most significant cosmetic procedures to hit the cosmetic surgery
industry. It can help to shed those unwanted pounds and help you achieve the appearance of your dreams. Liposuction or lipoplasty (liposculpture), as it is more commonly known, is a form of cosmetic surgery that helps to slim and reshape specific areas of your body. The end result of liposculpture is that it can improve your body contour and proportion, thus,
enhancing your self-image.
This can be a tremendous relief to anyone who has disproportionate body fat distribution,
despite regularly maintaining a healthy lifestyle or a reasonable level of fitness. In fact, there are many very healthy individuals that have disproportionate body contours due to localized fat deposits even though they’re highly fit. This can usually be traced back to heredity rather than a lack of fitness. For individuals who fall into this category, sometimes lipoplasty is the only reliable route to achieving a proportionate figure.
Liposuction is a common procedure that is very safe and performed mostly in an outpatient surgery center. For 22 years, we have a perfect safety record based off our careful surgery and careful selection of patients. Patients need to be in good health for this surgery because if done properly, large volumes of fluid shift in and out through the tissue and the body, during this procedure. As in every case, we take extensive time to make sure all health issues are safe for the patient. Even large patients are often good candidates for liposuction, however we do not exceed the removal of more than 5 liters. This is a nationally recognized safety guideline that we respect. If larger volumes are to be removed, we recommend either doing the case in the hospital where they can stay over night, or planning on 2 surgeries done 6 weeks apart. We have used standard liposuction technique for many years, with great success. The result of the surgery is not based on the type of liposuction used, it is based on the surgeon performing the procedure. Dramatic improvements can be seen in all sizes. The incisions are extremely small and heal with minimal scar.
“I had heard about this place from a friend who had really good results there. My abdomen and chest had bothered me for years, and I couldn’t get the look I wanted with diet and hard training. After speaking with the doctor and seeing the pictures, I felt sure he could do what I wanted, and he was right. A great job and excellent results that I’m proud of. Nice great staff and totally friendly care. I would highly recommend him to anyone."
The surgery can be doe with sedation and local anesthesia, Full general anesthesia, and in some cases just local anesthesia.
The starting cost for patients under 200 lbs. is $1,900 for the first area.
Normally, the skin will tighten up to accommodate the loss of fat. In rare occasions, if someone has loose skin AND a large fat removal, there might be loose skin that might need to be removed later.
Yes, once you wake up you will see a dramatic improvement, but considering the healing, you might not see final results until 3-4 months,
While you may only loose 5-10 pounds, to get this much fat loss would require normally a 30 pound weight loss or more. This is a fat removal surgery, not a weight reduction surgery.
