Why Choose Dr. Friedlander?

For 22 years, we have a perfect safety record based on our careful surgery and careful selection of patients. Liposuction is one of the top procedures performed by Dr. Friedlander, so you know you are in good hands.
As in every case, we take extensive time to make sure all health issues are safe for the patient. Even large patients are often good candidates for liposuction, however we do not exceed the removal of more than 5 liters. This is a nationally recognized safety guideline that we respect. If larger volumes are to be removed, we recommend either doing the case in the hospital where they can stay overnight, or planning on 2 surgeries done 6 weeks apart.

We have used standard liposuction techniques for many years, with great success. The result of the surgery is not based on the type of liposuction used, it is based on the surgeon performing the procedure. Dramatic improvements can be seen in all sizes. The incisions are extremely small and heal with minimal scar.
